Short version: this website collects nothing about you.
What this website collects
Nothing. This site is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies and no analytics following you between pages.
When you make an enquiry
The booking form does not send anything to us on its own. It opens WhatsApp on your device with a message already written, which you choose whether to send. If you send it, we receive what is in that message — your dates, room, headcount and your WhatsApp number — and WhatsApp handles it under its own privacy policy. The same applies if you call or email instead.
What we do with it
We use your details to answer your enquiry, hold your room and look after you while you stay. We keep reservation records as any hotel does, including what Kenyan law requires of us. We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone who is not involved in your booking.
Third parties on this site
The contact page embeds a Google Map, which loads from Google and is subject to Google’s privacy policy. Links to Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Google Reviews take you to those companies’ own sites, which we do not control.
Payments
We never ask for card numbers, PINs or M-Pesa PINs over WhatsApp, email or phone. Payment happens at reception when you arrive. If anyone contacts you claiming to be us and asks you to pay in advance, call +254 710 440 458 before doing anything.
Your rights
Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act you may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to thegrandbrystalcomfortinn@gmail.com and we will respond.
